Sharpening Info – Scissors Style Hedge Clippers

As long as there are no massive damages to the edges on most models of Scissors Style Hedge Clippers, Goldys Brand can sharpen them and get them cutting better than brand new again.

As part of our sharpening, we disassemble the clippers and if they are fairly rusty and/or dirty we will use some of our polishing equipment to take off the rust and dirt making the blades smoother and glide past each other so your strength is all going to cutting the hedge and not trying to move stuck blades.   Once we have sharpened and reassembled the clippers, we will oil the pivot screw and the actual pivot point where the blades cross to make cutting even easier!
